The Dodgy Demise and Other Dramatic Downfalls

Is there a serial killer in Westview?

After two suspicious deaths, police chief Christine DeMarcus thinks there may be.  Her co-chief Randy Reinisch, however, isn’t so sure—particularly when a prominent Westview citizen becomes a prime suspect.  But a third shocking murder may convince him otherwise.

Elsewhere around town, Jim Murphy’s secret assignment and his partner Richard Devonshire’s ignorance of it imperils both of them. Joe Carmichael and Jo Levine have a tense (and intense) reunion. Matt Andrews finally gets the nerve to confront his mother about a long-buried family matter, only to stumble upon a deeper, darker secret.

Meanwhile, across the pond in England, the lives of Sterling Smullen and Candy & Hudson Winnock hang by a thread—or rather, a cable—the ones connected to the blades of the guillotines Bo Novak and Ruth Branch have strapped them into; Steve Walters is cornered by the ruthless Bulbanians; and while the authorities scramble to mount a rescue, the clock is ticking… and the time for all of them may finally have run out.

The outcome of all this intercontinental mayhem?  Heads will roll… figuratively speaking.

But also literally.
