Risky Revelations and Other Rattling Recitals

Despite an approaching blizzard, things are heating up in the small town of Westview, North Carolina.

Sterling Smullen has been arrested for yet another murder (the count is up to three) and his attorney, Debbie Sherman, worries that even her exemplary skills won’t be enough to clear him. Sterling’s friend Candy Winnock steps in with her own unique plan to prove his innocence—She hires a psychic.

Elsewhere, Richard Devonshire finds it increasingly difficult to hide the fact that his partner, Jim Murphy, has been kidnapped in retaliation for Richard’s blackmailing of Peggy Lou Patterson. Little does Richard know that Jim is a secret undercover federal agent, deeply involved in the same nefarious plot that Richard is blackmailing Peggy Lou over. Brian Bishop (Jim’s spying partner) and his wife Kathleen are, unbeknownst to each other, on opposite sides of the same plot. Brian is desperate to find out what has happened to Jim. Richard is desperate to keep Jim alive. And Kathleen is desperate to keep Richard in line. Someone has to crack. And someone does.
