It’s Autumn 1992. The County Fair makes its annual visit to Westview, North Carolina, but it’s not the Ferris wheel and roller coaster that are turning the lives of its hapless residents inside out and upside down.
Matt Andrews thinks his wife is dead (spoiler alert—she’s not), Len Castleberry is doing hard time in the state prison, Randy Reinisch is off to Denmark to track down Len’s fugitive wife Martha, and Richard Devonshire is freshly out of the closet. Oh, and Sterling Smullen returns from a year-long stint in a Colorado rehab hospital with a cane and a secret.
Throw in an international jewel thief, a smarmy Hollywood producer, a fallen nun, a blowhard southern-fried millionaire, and murder by pot pie, and it all adds up to chaos—or rather, life as usual in Westview.
